Hayden Ballantyne has accepted a two-game suspension for a behind the play incident involving Geelong’s Paul Chapman from Saturday night’s game.

The livewire forward/midfielder was charged with a Level Three striking offence against Chapman during the first quarter after analysis of video evidence available and a medical report from the Cats.

His incident was assessed as intentional conduct, medium impact and body contact, earning six activation points and 225 demerit points.

Ballantyne will miss games against Sydney at the SCG and Brisbane at Patersons Stadium.
