DOCKERS ruckman Aaron Sandilands has confirmed he’ll return from a foot injury against Carlton on Friday night.

The Dockers must win their Round 22 match to ensure they host an elimination final in the first week of the finals.

“After three weeks of raging speculation about my foot injury I can now confirm that I am ready to play again,” the towering ruckman wrote on website SportsNewsFirst.

“I am definitely going to resume in Friday night’s important clash with Carlton at Subiaco Oval and I have to admit I feel really fresh and raring to go.”

Sandilands has missed the past three games, including the thrashing at by Hawthorn on Saturday afternoon, when the Dockers rested several star players, including skipper Matthew Pavlich.

“If some of the other boys that had our Round 21 weekend away from the heavy action that AFL battle can present feel as fresh as I do, we will have a really healthy squad to take on the Blues in a big game for us,” Sandilands wrote.

“A couple of good running sessions last week and then no soreness in the foot afterwards was the first sign I was ready to resume.

“Now it will be back into full training this week and ready to go.”
